Music DRM is going away because it`s mentally retarded to put DRM on music. People want to play their tunes on the cellphone, car stereo, computer and main stereo. If you buy DRM from iTunes, Microsoft Zune or Nokia none of that is going to happen. You´re not buying music anymore. You´re buying DRM containers with an expiring lease contract. Both Yahoo and Microsoft has shown the pathetic value proposition that this really is.
If you hate DRM in computer games, then boycott the product. Don´t crack the DRM. Boycott the company. When I was a kid, we had software pirates. Today we have monetizing bloggers looking for beer money.
